Buying your first home in WA?
We're right here in Joondalup — and we've been helping families like yours for over a decade.
Two federal schemes are available right now 5% Deposit Scheme & the Help to Buy Scheme - both designed to help you achieve your goal of owning your first home.
Let's find the right fit for you — no obligation, just a conversation.
Two schemes, two ways to buy sooner
Housing Australia administers both schemes, and they are available in Western Australia. Choose the one that fits your financial situation and home-buying goals.
Both schemes are available in Western Australia with generous price caps — $850,000 in the Perth metro area and $600,000 regionally.
Compare your options and see which one aligns with your financial situation and home‑buying goals.
Government guarantee, no LMI
The government guarantees part of your loan so your lender treats you as if you have a 20% deposit — meaning you don't pay Lenders Mortgage Insurance. Since 2020, over 248,000+ Australians have been helped into their first home.
Shared equity — lower loan, lower repayments
The government contributes up to 30% (existing) or 40% (new) of the purchase price — reducing your loan and making repayments more manageable. 10,000 places are available each year.
